BladeEdge Ventures to Build an Ice Rink in Casper, WY

by Oksana Reaves

BladeEdge Ventures LLC has announced plans to build an ice rink in Casper, Wyoming. The city is home to the Casper Warbirds, the first team under the BladeEdge Ventures umbrella of sporting teams. This ice rink is poised to offer better opportunities for serious athletes and families in the Casper area. This ice rink will serve as a location for hockey, figure skating, and recreational skating, and it will also function as a venue for various community events, such as concerts and performances.

BladeEdge Ventures has identified several potential locations; however, the Eastridge Mall is currently the number one choice because of its location and ability to serve the community. The organization plans to create a non-profit with local advisory and board members to ensure the rink and event center will effectively meet the needs of the Casper community. Chris has spoken to the City of Casper to encourage collaboration and ensure this project will be a win for all parties involved.

This project has several socio-economic benefits, including promoting small businesses and local food venues and creating opportunities for local youth. Furthermore, this project will draw out-of-town visitors and increase demand for commercial spaces, creating more jobs for Casper locals.

In order to continue with this project, BladeEdge Ventures will need to ensure the project meets certain deadlines and garners support from city officials and community members. Certain permissions will also need to be procured from the mall owners.

BladeEdge Ventures is excited to continue its promotion of youth, junior, and female athletics through this next project. Stay updated on the project by going to BladeEdgeVentures.com
