Thank You Casper for a Great First Season
A little over a year ago, I bought an NCDC team and put them in Casper, Wyoming. Through community efforts, we decided on the name “Warbirds” and began building a team that would stay in Casper for years to come. When I set out on this venture, I had no idea how much effort it would take, but I can say it’s been worth it. Barring the times I was coaching my daughter’s basketball team, I was at every home game, meeting loyal fans and cheering on the boys. Though we didn’t have a winning season, I believe we’ve begun to build an organization that will become something greater than we could ever imagine.
Thank you to the loyal fans who showed up game after game with family and friends. Thank you to the billet families for providing a home away from home for our players. Thank you for bringing them into your families and showing them why Casper is such a wonderful place. Thank you to the many people who helped staff our home games and made game days possible at the Casper Ice Arena. Thank you to our many sponsors who boosted morale and helped us keep the boys playing.
This season wouldn’t have been possible without every single person who showed up week after week. We’re excited to see what happens next year as we fly higher and stronger. Thank you, Casper, for the great people, awesome memories, and amazing support!
